She married 1st to Eugene Allen. They had 3 kids. He died while working on the railroad. She married 2nd to his brother, Wilton.

Mrs. Virgie C. Allen

MINDEN--Mrs. Virgie C. Allen passed away Wednesday morning in the Meadowview Nursing Home in Minden. She was 91.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church of Minden with Dr. Ronald Prince officiating. Interment will follow in the Minden Cemetery under the direction of Pinelands Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Allen is survived by three sons, Rev. J. P. Allen of Fort Worth, Texas; Harold Allen of Honolulu, Hawaii; and Eugene Allen of Minden; one daughter, Mrs. H. E. Stamm of Minden; eight grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Conrad Adkins, J. C. Agan, Jerald Stratton, George Turner, Dr. Sam Williams, and Leroy Bishop. The entire Deacon Board of the First Baptist Church served as honorary pallbearers.
