"DEATH CAUSES DEEP GLOOM IN WIDE CIRCLE
A gloom of decided character was cast over our community last week by the death of Mrs. Hiram Casey. Cut down in the prime of her womanhood, denied the boon of motherhood, which was to have been hers for a second time, a boon the anticipation of which had caused her the utmost joy she was taken from the little daughter and the husband to whom she had been the most devoted mother and wife, and from the many friends whom she had won during the few years of her residence in this city. The utmost sympathy goes to Mr. Casey and to the motherless little maiden in their irreparable loss."
