Edith Elizabeth Bremer, the daughter of Lewis E. and Bertha E. (Miner) Case, was born in Ravenna, Nebraska on September 9, 1911 and died in Lincoln, Nebraska on December 1, 2006, at the age of 95.

She was raised in Lincoln and graduated from Lincoln High School.

Edith was married to Ralph Bremer on January 25, 1948 at Lincoln. Most of their wedded life they resided in Aurora. They ran a dairy until 1959, when they sold it and farmed until in 1961, they purchased Pence Hardware Store, until 1967 when they sold the business. Ralph passed away on August 22, 1972. Edith moved back to Lincoln in 1980.

Edith was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and Lincoln Women's Chamber of Commerce.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Esther Aden and Marlia Logsdon and brothers, Clifford and Donald Case.

Edith is survived by her son, John (Michelle) Bremer of Wilmington, NC; two grandsons, Jeremy and Jason Bremer of Florida; two granddaughters, Kaitlin and Samantha; one brother, Dean (JoAnn) Case of Lincoln and many nieces and nephews.
