Minnie T. Casey of Ocean Springs, MS was born August 16, 1921. She passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in Ocean Springs at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie F. Casey; her parents, Rev. James and Magdalean Thompson; sisters: Maggie Thompson, Nellie Smith, Laura Woudard, and Mattie Thompson; brothers: her twin, Jack Thompson, Hunter Thompson, James Thompson, Jr. Daniel Thompson, Jack Thompson, and Robert Thompson. She leaves to mourn her passing one child: Willie L. Casey, Sr. of Ocean Springs; her grandchildren: Katreena Todd of Hattiesburg, Roshell (Otis) Hollins of Ocean Springs, Willie L. Casey, Jr. of Gautier, Latonya (Russell) Delaine of Tacoma, WA and Erica Lafayette of Ocean Springs; sixteen great grandchildren; and a host of cousins, niece, nephews, and friends. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 1700 Weed St. in Ocean Springs, MS. Visitation will be at the church two hours prior to service time. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Ocean Springs.
