Mafalda F. Casario, 95, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at her home. She was born Dec. 21, 1912, in Hunker, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Grace Capetta Weaver. Mafalda was formerly employed by Moreland Sportswear, Youngwood, as a seamstress. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette, and was a member and past president of the SNPJ Lodge Ladies Auxiliary, Carbon. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara "Bobby" Keys and her husband, Larry, of Latrobe, and Pat Elias, of Crabtree; a son, Michael Casario, of Jeannette; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Testa of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Casario; a grandson, John Elias III; five brothers; and four sisters. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 523 N. Main St., Greensburg. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette, with Father Leon Hont, OSB as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
