Mrs. Julia Carpenter
Mrs. Julia A. Carpenter died Tuesday evening, May 7th, at the home of her son, Edgar Carpenter of pneumonia, age 76 years.
Mrs. Carpenter was the widow of the late Elisha R. Carpenter, who died about seven years ago. She was born in this town, May 12, 1842, and had always lived here.
Three children survive, Edgar A. Carpenter and Mrs. B. B. Hann, of this village, and Mrs. Millie Skaehill of Olean.
Mrs. Carpenter was a member of the Andover Methodist Episcopal Church. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of her son, in this village, this afternoon, at 2:30 Rev. Chas. Collins pastor of the church, officiating.
Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery beside her husband.
