She was united in marriage to Chester Cartwright Feb. 14, 1935 at Corydon, Iowa. They had two daughters: Janet and Nancy.
They spent most of their married life in Decatur and Clarke counties and then moved to Cresco in 2000 due to failing health.
Beryl Cartwright loved to cook and bake for her family and took great pride in being a grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was an Avon representative for many years and enjoyed meeting people.
