Death: Jul. 25, 1999

Bonnie Jean Carter Aliotta, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, passed from this earthly existence on July 25, 1999.

Bonnie was born on February 26, 1934 in Payson, Utah to Gladys Lenore Leavitt and Peter Lynndyl Carter. She married Ernest (Ernie) Paul Aliotta on June 28, 1954 in Great Falls, Montana.

Bonnie Jean will be missed dearly. Her beautiful smile will always be with us. She always made everyone feel welcome in her home. Her home was her castle. It also gave her pleasure to cook for everyone. She was the best cook in the world. Her family gave her much joy. She loved her husband, children, and grandchildren until the very end.

"Don't cry at my grave because I won't be there - I'll be in the breeze that ruffles in your hair. I'll be in the sunshine - I'll be in the snow - I'll be in the places where we used to go. I'll be in your laughter and in funny things, I'll be in your shadow and there in your dreams. I'll be in your greeting but not your good-byes. I'll be in the reflection of your loving eyes. I'll always be with you and I'll always care, so don't cry at my graveside cause I won't be there."

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Ernie, Holladay; children, Gregory (Linda) Aliotta, Teasdale; and Cathy (Brent) Hugie, South Jordan; and two grandchildren, Jessica and Angie Hugie of South Jordan; mother, Gladys Carlton, Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Joan Glover, Sandy; Judy Seegmiller, Provo; Sally Brown, Meeker, Colorado; and Susie Johnson, Spanish Fork; brother, Michael Carter, Albuquerque, NM. Her father, Lynn Carter, and her brother, Doug Carter, preceded her in death.

We invite you to attend a celebration of her life at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 28th, Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City. You are invited to join the family from 1-2 p.m. to reminisce and share in this celebration.
