Mrs. Mae Carter Brandon, age 89, passed away February 11, 2015 in Clarksdale, MS. The Family will receive friends at a catered reception from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm followed by the service at 2:00 pm at National Funeral Home, Saturday, February 14, 2015. Interment will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Brandon, retired employee of the City of Clarksdale Water Department, was a member of Oakhurst Baptist church. She was also a member of the Clarksdale Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Brandon is survived by her sons David Brandon of Clarksdale, MS and Kenneth Brandon of Laurel, MS.
Mrs. Brandon was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Brandon, her son James Brandon, her parents Dave and Mary Carter. Mrs. Brandon was also preceded in death by her sister, Merle Carter, and four brothers-Earl Carter, Leo Carter, Denver Carter and James Carter.
