Irene Eugenia Carter, born Nov. 11, 1932, went to glory May 31, 2005. She was predeceased by her parents, Rodney and Ida Carter and a son, Calvin Carter. Irene leaves to cherish her memory 10 children, Christopher, Tyrone and Jimmy Carter, Yvonne Banks, Larry, Timothy, Daffine, Pamela, Warren and Robert Carter; 25 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. A funeral will be at noon today in Way of the Cross Church. Bishop Lewis Hines will preside. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Graves Funeral Home Inc. is in charge.
