Mary Lois “Dotten” Brown, age 75, of Midway, formerly of Dermott, AR, passed away in Mountain Home, November 22, 2015, after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Funeral Services will be 2:30PM Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Midway Baptist Church with Brother Marshall Lum officiating. Visitation will be from 1PM until time of service.

Dot and husband of 57 years, Eldridge, loved the great outdoors and spent many days gardening, fishing and hunting. She loved her Midway Baptist Church and before her illness she loved to sing, play the piano and guitar by ear.

Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Richard “Earl” and Lois Hayes Carter.

The eldest daughter of 11 siblings, she was also preceded in death by the Carter brothers; Vernon, Ray, Jim, Richard, Donald, Gordon; sisters, Stella Clowers, Ruby Payne, Shirley Higgins and Cathy Walker, & grandchild, Tyler Bentley Fox.

Dot is survived by her loving husband Eldridge Brown, three children Vickie (Wade), Fox, David (Denise), Brown, Amanda (Stephen) Alvirez; sister, Linda Mixon Lambert and grand-children; Skyler, Seth and Zackery Fox, Mason Tumey, Silvia Alvirez, Camron Brown and Cody, (McKenzie) Dewhitt and great-grandson, Milan.

Burial will be at Conley Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas with her grandsons as pallbearers. Memorials can be made in her name to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House or Midway Baptist Church.
