A very fine, brave, loving woman died leaving many family and friends who mourn her loss. I met Sherry when my small family moved across the street from her in the 1970's. Throughout the years I learned to love her humor, steadfastness, honesty, and open affection for all things. Sherry loved birds, sunsets, her ceramics, and watching people. She was a natural sociologist. She was also a lady I considered a friend.

She was born to Stanley Elmer and Hazel Adele Carter. One of five daughters. Sisters: Gwen, Kathryn, Bonnie, and Grace.

Sherry married Don Brewer on August 10, 1951, in Moroni, Utah, 13 days before he shipped off to Korea. They were the proud parents of Marilynn, Debra, Patricia, and Michael.

When my husband was killed in an accident, both Don and Sherry were right there with my son and I, taking us to where he was and supporting us throughout.

Will love them both forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don; her daughter, Marilynn; and sisters, Bonnie and Grace.

God bless you, Sherry.

Viewing will be on Sunday at Cannon Mortuary and the funeral will be on Monday at the Greenfield Chapel. She will be buried with Don at Larkin's in Sandy.
