Imogene Booth, 77, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away on October 3, 2008 at St. Mary's Manor. Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Blue Springs. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Monday, October 6, 2008 at the church. Burial will follow in Blue Springs Cemetery. Memorial contributions in honor of Imogene may be made to First Baptist Church of Blue Springs.
Imogene was born on October 1, 1931 in Van Horn, Missouri to George and Amanda (Miller) Carter. She graduated from Bogard High School and retired as Manager of Quality Control for the Social Security Administration. Imogene loved volunteering her time at St. Mary's Hospital on the second floor and at the church taking care of the babies. She was a very fun-loving and enjoyed traveling with her husband. Imogene was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother and was cherished by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a step-son, Charles (Bobbie) Booth.
