Catharine M. Reinke
Catharine M. Reinke (nee Carter), 61, of West Salem, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, in Medina.

She was born Nov. 17, 1942, in Grafton. Mrs. Reinke was a cook in the deli at Super Kmart in Medina for 11 years. For the last 24 years, she was an Avon represen-tative. Mrs. Reinke was a member of the Medina Moose, WOTM 968 as a past senior regent. She enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, Cleveland Indians baseball, truck and tractor pulls and horseracing. Mrs. Reinke enjoyed country music, farm animals, having cookouts, holidays with her family and, most of all, watching her children drive demolition derby. Over the years, she volunteered on three local fire departments. She believed in strong family values and will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Reinke is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dan W. Reinke; sons, William of Brunswick and Wayne of West Salem; daughter, Pamela (Daniel) Smith of West Salem; future daughters-in-law, Laura Thrasher and Leah Stephens; grandchildren, Cassie Jones, Amanda Thrasher and Nattalee Reinke, all of Brunswick, and Hailey, Danielle and Dakota Smith, all of West Salem.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Esther Carter.

Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St. The Rev. Chris Cahill will officiate.

Burial: Chatham Township Cemetery.

Visiting hours: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family requests donations in her memory in care of the family or Christ the King Lutheran Church in Lodi.
