Shirley A. Barron, 67, of Las Vegas, formerly of Rowley, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Peoples Memorial Hospital, Independence, after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Barron was involved in the management of the Carson and Barron Farms.
Survivors include her husband, Pete; two daughters. Nikki Matthiesen of Rowley and Tonia Neukirch of Yutan. Neb.; two sons, Keven of Manchester and Chris of Independence; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandson; and her father and stepmother, Ralph and Lillian Carson of Independence.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Independence, with burial in Rowley Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today and from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
