Mr. Carson formerly owned a restaurant at 1309 North Pennsylvania Street and a hotel in Monticello.
Born in Monticello, Indiana, he came to Indianapolis in 1903 and served in the U.S. Navy before World War I. He attended the Presbyterian Church and at one time was a member of the Improved Order of Red Men.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mabel Carson and a sister, Mrs. Blanch Helliwell, Royal Oak, Michigan.
