Marion C. Carroll, 88, of Trimble, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Home.
He taught and coached at Rope High School in Jackson, was principal and coach for Newbern School, principal at Richwood School and served as principal and school superintendent in Trimble for 27 years, a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Trimble Methodist Church,
Dyer County Retired Teachers Association, American Legion, VFW, and Trimble Lion's Club.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Presson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
