Mrs. Carroll, a native of the Shady Grove Community, died at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in a Jackson nursing home.
Survivors include one son, Joette Carroll, Thornton; three grandsons, Bill and Curtis Carroll, Dallas, Tex., and John Wayne Carroll, Jackson; one sister, Mrs. Rachel Covington, Jackson; one brother, June Coghlan, Hattiesburg, and five great-grandchildren.
Rev. Bob Lynch officiated. Catchings Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
