Ruth E. Schneider

Ruth E. Schneider went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on June 3, 2014. Her suffering in this life is over and her joyous reunion with her loved ones and friends has begun in Heaven. Ruth was born in Lansing, Michigan on January 28, 1927 to Ford and Lena Carrigan.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Ralph Schneider; grandson, E.J. Mead; three brothers; and one sister. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Susie (Mead) Quillen, Mike (Judy) Schneider, and Debra Conlin. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara (Bob) Adams, Jeanne German, and Donna Spurgeon; and nephew, Clyde John (Jody) Schneider.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the Lansing Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, 1210 W. Saginaw St., Lansing, MI 48915. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank all of the staff and volunteers at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan for their caring support of our mother and family.
