MRS. CALDWELL SUCCUMBS AT 82
Mrs. Mayola Caldwell, 82, died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 1971, at Mary Immaculate Hospital after a long illness. She had been hospitalized two days. A native of Marion County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Mulligan Carrico. She made her home on Shuck Avenue. Mrs. Caldwell is survived by her husband, John B. Caldwell; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Elder, St. Mary; a son, Eugene Caldwell, St. Mary, a brother, Eddie Carrico of Lebanon and 12 grandchildren. The body was at Bosley Funeral Home, where the Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Friday. The funeral was conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Church with burial in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Sonny and Ambrose Caldwell, Jimmy and Teddy Carrico, Jerry Spalding and Bernard Mudd.
