Alexander Carrico was born to James T. and Joanna (Carrico. He was a brother of, at least, Aquilla Carrico; 1790-1849; Matthew Carrico; Francis L./S. Carrico; George Carrico; Anastasia "Ann Stacy" (Carrico) Yates; and James Carrico.

On February 9, 1818, Alexander Carrico was made the ward of Joanna Carrico, his mother, in Washington County, Kentucky. The witnesses to this loose guardian bond in the County Clerk's Office in Springfield, Kentucky were: William Wright and Elisha McAtee. He is named as a son in his father, James Carrico's, will written August 26, 1814 and probated December 11, 1815 and recorded in Washington County, Kentucky Will Book #B on page 468. It also names Alexander's mother, and sibling.

Alexander Carrico's marriage bond, dated November 27, 1826, to marry Frances "Fannie" Cash, daughter of William Cash, is filed in Nelson County, Kentucky in the County Clerk's Office in Bardstown, Kentucky.

Alexander and Fannie (Cash) Carrico had, at least, these four daughters: Ann Carrico, 18xx-1833; Martha Ellen Carrico; Mary Jane Carrico Carrico, 1835-xxxx; and Susan Joananna Carrico, 1837-xxxx.

Witnesses: Joseph Wimsatt and William H. Hawkins, Justices of the Peace of Marion County, Kentucky; Thomas Cissell, and O(?). N. O'Brian, Justices of the Peace of Daviess County, Kentucky.

Alexander's burial entry appears on page 128 of St. Rose Sacramental Register #1 and says he was buried in St. Rose Cemetery on April 15, 1837.
