Helen Irene Jones Carrico, 90 of Sullivan, formerly of Carlisle passed away Monday September 24, 2012 at Breckenridge Nursing Home.

She was born in Carlisle on December 10, 1921 to Russell and Ethel Brown Jones.

She was a homemaker and a cook for several years at Calumet Twp. School Corp. in Gary IN.

Preceding her in death was her husband Doyle Carrico on December 18, 1996, four brothers John Paul Jones, Archie Jones, Bill Jones, Harold Jones and a sister Lillian Lincicum.

Survivors include her son Randall (Fran) Carrico of Carlisle,a sister Mary Lee Timms of Paxton, three grandchildren Cheri (Jeremy) Roberts, Lorrie (Walt) Shearin, and Jayme (Patty) Carrico, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the Holmes Memorial Chapel on Friday September 28, 2012 at 1pm with Rev. Terry Norris officiating. Visitation for Helen will be on Thursday from 4 to 7pm. Burial will take place at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Carlisle.

Hi Helen, I was thinking of you. Sure do miss you around here. Fern was 99 yrs old yesterday. She is at the Nursing Home now.
