"DEATH CALLS MRS.
AFTER HEART ATTACK"
"Carlisle, Ind. May 1."
"Mrs. Sarah Jane Carmichael, 75 years old, died early Sunday morning at the residence, six miles west of here, after she had suffered a heart attack shortly before midnight Saturday."
"She was the daughter of Joseph and Susan Purcell Carrico and was married September 12, 1890, to John Carmichael."
"She is survived by the husband, John; three daughter, Mrs. Ameilia Phegley of Carlisle, Mrs. Della Anderson of Sullivan Rural Route, and Mrs. Jessie Engle of Sullivan; four sons, Rollie V. of Sullivan, Harold and Eugene, both of Carlisle, Rural Route, and Cpt. John M. of the American Air Force stationed at Wright Field, Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, George W. Carrico of Oaktown, Rural Route, and Lon Carrico of Paxton, Rural Route; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Wolfe and Mrs. Mattie McCoy, both of Terre Haute."
"The body was taken to the Risinger & Kresge Funeral Home and was returned to the residence Sunday afternoon, where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Carl Landes officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery."
