Allie V. Carrell Arceneaux was born July 21, 1914 to Joseph Robert Carrell and Lila Alma Creel Carrell. A native of Village Mills, Texas, she was a longtime resident of Liberty. She had lived with her daughter in Donie, Texas for six years and resided the past three years at Clifton Care Center in Clifton, Texas, where she died Decmeber 2, 2000. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Assembly of God in Liberty. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J. F. Arceneaux; brothers, James Henry Carrell, A. B. Carrell and Charles E. Carrell; and a sister, Virneze Carrell Rose. Survivors include her daughter, Joyce June LaGrone and her husband, C. W. of Donie; four grandchildren, Mimi Mayfield and Mark LaGrone of Donie, Keli McKissick and her husband, Mike of Pflugerville, Texas, and Tami Schneider and her husband, Rick of Boston, Massachusetts; six great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Preston Carrell of Highlands; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
