Death of Mrs. Walter Carr
After a painful sickness, borne with much fortitude and patience, Mrs. Carr, the wife of our respected citizen, Walter Carr, passed to her eternal rest on Saturday afternoon last, at the early age of 35.
The funeral took place on Monday from the residence of deceased, a service being held in the Methodist Church, of which body deceased was a member. From thence the body was conveyed to the cemetery for interment, followed by a large number of carriages conveying friends and relations. The beautiful wreaths and floral tributes received were testimony of the respect and esteem in which deceased was held by the citizens. Mrs. Carr has resided in Trail for about 20 years, and is survived by her husband and six childern [sic], four girls and two boys, who, in their bereavement have the sympathy of the community.
