She enjoyed retirement, travelling while she was able, going to the Casino, but most of all, the times she was surrounded by her loving family. In later years her failing eyesight limited her to spending her days knitting dish rags and giving them away, listening to her talking books, and having a daily Caesar at Happy Hour. In the last few months she resided at the Assisted Living Kinsmen Centre, where she enjoyed the supportive care she received from all the staff and the residents she met. Special thanks to the staff of the Kinsmen Assisted Living, the Doctors and Nursing staff at Delta Hospital and Royal Columbian Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at Delta Funeral Home, 5329 Ladner Trunk Road in Ladner on Monday, November 22nd, 2010 at 1:00 PM, with a private family interment at Boundary Bay Cemetery. We miss you Mom, Grams, Granny, GiGi, Li'l M, Auntie Marg, Jimmy and Margie. We are thankful you are not suffering anymore. The angels will be happy to hear your comic relief. You were so loved, and will be so missed.
