Alfred Warren Carr, 77, of Epping NH, died Dec. 24, 2000, at Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood NH after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 18, 1923, at the nursing home, the son of Alfred and Bessie M. (Wentworth) Carr.
After leaving Laconia State School as a young man, he made his own way working as a farmhand at Wagon Hill Farm in Durham NH and later at the Harvey Farm in Epping NH. He was devoted to farming.
