OBITUARY - Fulton Sun July 7 , 1945 - Frank Carr of Fulton received word of
the death of his siter, Mrs. Jefferson Baker of Alhambra, California , the
former Miss Pauline Carr of Fulton, had been ill for some time, but the
death came as a shock as she had been reported better. She was 39 years old.
Mrs. Baker who was born in Millersburg, was a graduate of Fulton Public High
School and of Willliam Woods College. She had lived in California since
1925. She was an active member if the Baptist Church and taught a class
until poor health prevented it. Mrs. Baker, the daughtger of the late
Taylor Carr of Fulton, is survived by her husband, Capt. Baker, her mother,
Mrs. Clara Carr, two brothers, Frank Carr of Fulton and Louis Guy Carr of
Wilmar, California. A sister, Miss Mabel Carr preceded her in death. Capt.
Baker, who was being transferred to duty at Santa Ana, CA from his previous
station at Richmond, VA, on account of his wifes health, was visiting Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Carr when Mrs. Baker died. He and Mr. Carr left friday for
California and will make the funeral arrangements.
