|Birth: ||Oct. 18, 1859|
|Death: ||Dec. 6, 1933|
Daughter of Andrew Jackson Carpenter and Susan (Mitchell) Carpenter. Second wife of Samuel Baker (he was born 1853). They were married December 1, 1905 in Colusa. Her first husband was William Clark White. It appears she actually came west with her parents and siblings instead of with her first husband as her obituary states. She is in the 1870 Eugene, Lane, Oregon census with her parents.

Mrs. Baker was united in marriage to Mr. White when she was 17 years old, at which time she crossed the plains to California. The Whites lived in Colusa for a number of years. Mr. White died here. On December 1, 1905, Mrs. White and Samuel Baker were married.
It was announced later that funeral services would be held Saturday afternoon at the local Methodist church with Rev. H. L. Thatcher officiating.
