Eula, (Judson) 101 years of age passed away peacefully on Friday, at Prestige Place, Clare, Michigan. Eula was the daughter of William John and Sadie Elizabeth (Smith) Carpenter. Eula was united in marriage to Mr. Robert R. Judson in 1928. Mr. Judson preceded Eula in death in 1962. Eula was then united in marriage to Mr. Donald E. Becker in 1964. Mr. Becker preceded Eula in death in 2004. Mrs. Judson-Becker had resided in the Fenton, Michigan area most of her lifetime. Eula had spent a short time in Harrison with family.
Eula enjoyed crocheting, attending Bridge Club and was an avid dancer. Eula was known for her famous chili sauce, strawberry freezer jam and baked beans.
Surviving is her loving son, John Robert Judson and wife Irene of Fenton, one step-son, Don Lee Becker and wife Joan of Grand Blanc, Michigan, one brother, Marvin Carpenter and wife Jean of Greenville, Michigan, two grandchildren: Sally Ellis and husband Greg and William John Judson, one great-grandson, Joseph Burgess, a grandson in law, Jim Burgess, one step-granddaughter, Jodie. Mrs. Judson-Becker also was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters: Hazel, Phylis and Laone, three brothers: Raleigh, Loren and Lloyd and a granddaughter, Penny Burgess.
Cemetery Chapel services for Eula were held Thursday, March 24, 2011 with Reverend Jerry Britton officiating.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Judson-Becker may be considered to the donors choice.
Arrangements for Mrs. Judson-Becker are entrusted with Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison.
