Barbara EllenCARPENTER , 60, of Loveland died Oct. 5, 2006, in Fort Collins.
She was born to Joseph Eddy Sr. and Anna Spires Eddy on July 5, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio. She was raised in Columbus and graduated from Whitehall Yearling High School. She is a former resident of New Jersey and moved to Loveland in 1983.

Ms. Carpenter worked as a flight attendant for United Airlines for 39 years. She attended the Lutheran Church. She enjoyed pets and collected dolls and loved to travel, especially internationally.

She is survived by her mother, Anna Eddy of Loveland; her sister, Mary Marlow of Spokane, Wash.; and many friends, nieces, nephews and one great-nephew.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Eddy Sr., and brother, Joseph Paul Eddy Jr.

Services will be in Columbus at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Larimer County in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 2100 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, CO 80538.
