The body of Mrs. Emma Josephine Baer who died in Washington, DC, Monday, arrived in Wabash Wednesday morning and was taken to the Jones Funeral home where services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Mrs. Baer was born in Wabash, March 9, 1869 to John S.B. and Emily (Stone) Carothers. She was married to Samuel A. Baer, June 29, 1892.
Surviving are the husband and the one daughter, Mrs. Genevieve Gongwer, Chevy Chase, Md., and two granddaughters.
She was a member of the Wabash Christian church for many years. The Rev. Elwood Dunn pastor of the church, will conduct the funeral services and burial will be in Falls cemetery. The body will remain in the Jones funral home where friends may call.
