Donald D. “Pee Wee” Carolus, 72, of Rockwood, passed on June 19, 2019 at Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown. Born June 24, 1946 in Black Twp., he was a son of the late Merle and Ethel (Marker) Carolus. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Shirley (Singo) Carolus; children Terry Carolus and fiancé Diane of Somerset and Teresa Spiker and husband Mike of Somerset; grandchildren Cody Carolus (Tessa) and Nicole Foy (Traie); great-grandchildren Parker and Dalton Foy; siblings Merle Carolus Jr. (Peggy) of Markleton, Ken Carolus (Linda) of Rockwood, Helen Ohler of Somerset, and Shirley Woolley of Boswell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Don was a self-employed plumber in the Rockwood area. He was a Life Member of the Rockwood Fire Department. He was a member of the Somerset Eagles and the Rockwood American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, and cooking and eating. Friends will be received today from 2-8 P.M. at MILLER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, SOMERSET, where a service will be held tomorrow at 11 A.M., Pastor Tim Dietrich officiating. Interment will follow at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Rockwood Fire Department.
