Ina Catherine Caro Briggs, a native of Pensacola, passed away on April 14, 2016, at the Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Inpatient Residence. Ina was born on June 23, 1925, to W.J. (Bill) and Willie Mae Wise Caro.

Ina was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. In 1990, she retired from the Credit Bureau of Pensacola (now Equifax).

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie A. Briggs; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Winston Olsen of Pensacola, Billie Marie and George Morgan of Tacoma, WA and her brother and sister-in-law, John Vincent and Rita Caro of San Diego, CA and son-in-law, Rodney Lee Kendig.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Kendig; her son, Ross Briggs; grandchildren, Adam Kendig, Sr., Christy Kendig, Chelsey Kendig and Jacob Kendig; great-grandson, Adam (AJ) Kendig, Jr.; her best friend and precious sister, Joanne and her husband, Lee Walczak and many nieces and nephews throughout the country.

A private graveside service for family will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery.

Ina requested that instead of flowers, just do something nice for someone or just say a prayer".
