Mrs. Brown was born Aug. 12, 1913 in Dayton, Tenn., a daughter of the late William and Nora Carney.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jesse (Carolyn) Potter of Edwardsville and Mrs. Gerald (Sandra) Bonfiglio of Edwardsville, three brothers: George Carney of Pontiac, Mich., Brownie Carney of Hixon Pike, Tenn., and Alfred R. Carney of Martinez Ga.: a sister, Amy Scroggins of Fayetteville, N.C.; four grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by several brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4 at the funeral home with the Rev. Mel Carr of St. Louis officiating.
Memorials may be directed to the Madison County Humane Society."
