Floyd Carmin, 82, 230 Hammond St., died at 1:10 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital. He was born July 13, 1901, in Logansport, to Carl and Iva May Smith Carmin. On Oct. 8, 1919, in Monticello, he was married to Hazel Wilson, who died Feb. 25, 1970. He was retired from the Logansport State
Hospital.

Surviving are two sons, Lawrence, 616 14th St., and William, 926 16th St.; a daughter, Betty Mae Rhinebarger, 313 Cliff Dr.; a sister, Gladys Barrett, Leesburg; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A son preceded in death.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Fisher Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Mooi; officiating. Burial will be in Rockford IOOF Cemetery, Rockford. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
