DEATH CLAIMS MRS. CARMICHAEL
Mrs. Bridget Carmichael, aged 72, passed away yesterday afternoon at her home on North Morton Street after an illness of several months from (a) complication of sickness.
Mrs. Carmichael was born in Ireland and came to this country with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Sherlock, when two years old and settled in Lawrence County. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She was the widow of Richard Carmichael who died in 1895. Mrs. Carmichael has resided in Bloomington for the past 37 years.
She is the last of a family of 18 children.
She is survived by two sons, Frank and Will, and five grandchildren, all of this city.
Funeral will be Monday morning at 9 AM at St. Charles church in charge of Rev. Father Lannert and burial in Rose Hill.
Pallbearers will be John Murphy, Charles Hinkle, Joseph Sahm, Charles Stineburg, Samuel McGinnis, and John Marley.
