Josephine Elizabeth Weeks Carmack, 81, of Canon City died at St. Thomas More Hospital, Jan. 218, 1994. She was born Mar 19, 1912 in Tecumseh, Mich., to Milton S. and Louella (Miller) Weeks.
Mrs. Carmack moved to Canon City from Denver in 1981. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting. She preferred the Protestant faith.
She was married June 20, 1989, to Clarence Carmack, who is deceased.
Mrs. Carmack is survived by a: a sister, Alice Munson of Canon City; nephews: Hugh (Betty) Munson of Westcliffe and Merrill Weeks, Jr. of Peyton; nieces Doris (John) Snyder of Canon City; Dorothy (Doyle) Higbee of Canon City; Wilma Armstrong of Howard, and Betty Carpenter of Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Gladys Ziegler and Marion Ireland; and two brothers, Merril Weeks and Glen Weeks.
Services were held Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2 p.m. at the Holt Family Chapel of the Garden with Pastor James McKean officiating. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery.
