Mrs. T.A. Ballard, the mother of Rev. C.L. Ballard, died at the residence of her son at the Polytechnic college on Tuesday late. The funeral was held yesterday, Rev. W.F. Lloyd preaching the sermon. Mrs. Ballard was a most worthy woman, being a sincere Christian, and for many years an ardent member of the Baptist church. She raised a family of ten children. Two of the them are preachers --- Rev. C.L. Ballard, a minister of the Methodist church, and Rev. Mr. Ballard a minister of the Baptist church and pastor at Pilot Point.
