Myrtle was born December 3, 1913 in Leavonworth [Leavenworth], WA. She went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2000. She was raised in Tacoma and attended Lincoln High School. She retired from the City Treasurer's Office in 1975. She married Alex Barth in 1941 and they had 4 children. Myrtle was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family has always been her life. She loved contesting and gardening. She was very active in her church. She was very active in spreading God's word through The Gideon International.
She is survived by her husband Alex; daughters, Margie Boughner (David), Ruth Boucher (Edward), Alyce Norton; her son, John (Mary). She has 6 grandchildren, Jennifer and Jaclyn Boughner, Matthew, Meghan, Emily and Samuel Boucher. She is also survived by her sister Olga Telling.
Funeral services to celebrate Myrtle's life will be held on Tuesday, February 29, 2000, at 11:00AM in Mountain View Garden Chapel. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
