MRS. EMILY ANDERSON
Mrs. Emily Anderson, 66, formerly of Chariton, died at the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines Friday afternoon.
Emily Carlson was born in Sweden. She came to Chariton, Iowa, when about eighteen years of age and lived here many years. She was married to Alfred Olson, who preceded her in death several years ago.
About 1920 she was married to Axel Anderson, and their home for several years had been in Wheaton, Minn. They had spent this winter in Des Moines with her daughters.
Surviving are her husband, Axel Anderson, and six children, Carl Olson and Eric Olson, of Chariton; Mrs. Ted Larson, Mrs. Fred Erquist, Mrs. R. Anderson and Mrs. Ethel Bolich, all of Des Moines; and sixteen grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Beardsley funeral home in Chariton, Monday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. Bergren, pastor of the Des Moines Lutheran church, and burial was in the Chariton cemetery.
