Pallbearers were: Allen Sandberg, Jerry Andrews, Emil Nelson, Clarence Ahlstrand, Vernon Christman and Axel Lindgren.
Interment was at Hillside Cemetery, Center City.
Royale Albert Victor Carlson was born March 12,1907 at Shafer, son of Swen and Ida Carlson.
June 23,1938 he was united in marriage to Adele Nelson of Shafer. The couple lived on the home farm.
To this union 2 daughters were born, Marilyn Tretsven of Dresser, WI and Beverly Tougas of New Hope.
Royale Carlson died July 8, 1973 at St. Croix Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife;2 daughters,five grandchildren;3 sisters, Mrs.Carl(Nora)Johnson, Mrs. Dave (Esther) Nelson,both of Mpls'; and Mrs.Lillian Herberg of Taylors Falls.
He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Frank and Paul.
