Funeral services were held Wednesday March 4 at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church for CG Carlson . Lindstrom resident who passed away here on March 1 at 1:20 pm. Mr Carlson who was 81 years had been in failing health for some time past suffering from several infirmaties of advance age was born on January 10, 1855 in Smoland, Sweden, then he came to this country with his parents while only 15 years old. He spent his early life farming in Franconia. He was married to Anna Carlson in 1880 and five children were born to the union. In the year 1918 Mr Carlson and his wife retired from farming and moved to Lindstrom. Mrs Carlson Passed away in January 1928. Surviving the deceased are the following daughters: Mrs Vic. Larson and Mrs Nellie Sandquist of Lindstrom, Mrs Hedvig Bronson and Mrs Sophie Clausen of Minneapolis and Mrs Hilda Coleman of Portland, Oregon. Officiating at the services were Rev Nelson. Burial was made at the church cemetery and the following served as pallbearers: Sven Johnson, Oscar Bloomquist, Charles Reed, Ed Bloom, Ed Haselbeck, OW Peterson. Mr and Mrs Wallin sang beautiful numbers. Friends and relatives from far and near attended the services.
