Naomi was born May 29, 1917 in Creston, Iowa to Andrew and Frieda Carlson. She attended school in Iowa, graduating from Creston High School in 1935.
On April 5, 1936 she married Jack Addison in Chariton, Iowa. To this union were born two children, Jackie Lee, and William James.
Naomi was a member of the First Baptist Church in Iowa and for the last few years and a member of the Cornerstone Community Church in Boise. She worked for Gits' Manufacturing Co. for 10 years before moving to Idaho in 1956. Here in Idaho she first got a job as a secretary but found her true love of work doing housework. She was with some families over 25 years and came to love them as her own family.
Survivors include, one son, Bill and wife Carol of Middleton; Granddaughters, Tamie (Darryl) Smith of Middleton, and Kimberly of Nampa; 3 Great-Grandchildren, Brian Smith of Boise, and Kristi and Amanda Smith of Middleton; 3 nieces and one first cousin; and two special family friends, Loyal And Monica Perry of Boise. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, husband S.M. "Jack"; one son, a brother and sister.
Naomi had a unique sense of humor and will be missed by all.
The family would like to thank Monica for her love and support and Shirley for doing her hair for so many years. We would also like to thank the members of Naomi's care group for loving her and taking her to all the meetings and the Cornerstone Church, which she loved attending.
