Mildred Duffin Carlson, 46, 398 S. 1st W., American Fork, died Tuesday at the Cottonwood Hospital in Murray of complications following a fall in her home, according to members of her family. The fall occurred Sunday. She was taken to the American Fork Hospital and then transferred to the Cottonwood Hospital.
She was born Oct. 15, 1919 in Eureka, the daughter of Rodney and Ada Fern Harris Duffin. She married Oscar William Carlson Jr., on June 9, 1937 in Provo. They were later divorced.
Mrs. Carlson lived in Provo and Salt Lake and had been making her home in American Fork for the past year. She graduated from Provo High School.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are one son and one daughter, Richard Kelly and Christina Carlson, both of American Fork; one brother, Keith Duffin, Provo; two sisters, Mrs. Grant (Fern) Rowley, Orem; Mrs. Roger (Marian) Heeden, Sunset.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary, Orem. Friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday prior to services. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
