Mary Nancy, 93, passed away peacefully at Bayside Park in Emeryville. She grew up in Northwood, NH and was a graduate of the University of NH in 1944. She moved to California in 1945 and married Albert H. Oliver in 1947. She lived in Albany, CA from 1953 until just a few months before her passing. She worked at The California School for the Deaf, then volunteered at the American Cancer Society and Kaiser Hospital-Oakland. She is survived by a nephew and nieces: Duane Carlisle, April Carlisle, Rosemary Raynes, and their families, who all reside in NH, and her dear neighbors Judy & Richard Vohs. There will be a graveside service at St. Joseph Cemetery, 2560 Church Lane, San Pablo, CA on Monday, August 25 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the St. Ambrose Church, 1145 Gilman St., Berkeley, CA 94706 where she was an active member for many years. Family & friends are grateful to the staff of Comfort Keepers, Bayside Park and Vitas Hospice Care.
