Mrs. Alfred Braden, Dies At Her Home Near McLeansboro

Mrs. Sarah Ann Braden, 72, wife of Alfred Braden, of near McLeansboro, died late Thursday afternoon at Vickers hospital in McLeansboro.

Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Elmer Braden, McLeansboro, I. L. Braden, Galatia, Frank Braden, Elgin, Mrs. Elva Tate, Thompsonville RFD, Mrs. Dollie Clark, Thompsonville RFD, Mrs. Ray Kirkpatrick, Mrs. Ann Frease and Mrs. Golda Parmley, all of McLeansboro. She is also survived by two brothers, Millard Carlisle, West End, and Bill Carlisle, Thompsonville.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 12:30 p. m. at Little Springs church in Hamilton county by Rev. Robert Upchurch, Raleigh, assisted by Rev. Harrison Knight, McLeansboro. Burial will be in the Little Springs cemetery.

The body will be taken from the Courtney funeral home in Galatia Saturday morning to the home of Mrs. Ray Kirkpatrick at McLeansboro, where it will lie in state until time for the funeral.
