ANNA LEE CARBAUGH, 82, of Boonsboro, and formerly of 12620 Cohill Road, Clear Spring, died Sunday, May 12, 2002, at Fahrney-Keedy Home, Boonsboro, where she was a resident. Born April 2, 1920, in Martinsburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Laura Payne Grove.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard H. Henson, on Feb. 27, 1946; and her second husband, John K. Carbaugh, on Dec. 14, 1981.

She was employed by the Washington County Board of Education in the cafeteria. She was a member of Blair's Valley Church of God, and attended Maugansville Bible Brethren Church.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald Lee Henson and Robert Marshall Henson, both of Clear Spring; three stepsons, J. Kenneth Carbaugh of Clear Spring, Donovan C. Carbaugh of Wilmington, Del., and Raymond L. Carbaugh of Mercersburg, Pa.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Richard H. Henson Jr.; one sister, Mary Payne Rubeck Strock; and one brother, Douglas E. Grove.

Memorial services were held at Maugansville Bible Brethren Church, Maugansville; burial was held at the convenience of the family; arrangements were handled by Minnich Funeral Home, Hagerstown.
