Mrs A Myrle Buckingham, 85, a former resident of Finksburg, died today at 6 am at the Horton boarding home, near New Windsor, following a long illness. A lifelong resident of Sandymount, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Alice Taylor Caple Winfield. Her husband, Claude G Buckingham died in 1955. She was a lifelong member of Sandymount Methodist Church and was church organist for many years. She had been a correspondent for Carroll County papers and the Hanover Evening sun for the Finksburg area. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs Harold E Harvey 1712 Lauderdale Road, Towson and four grandchildren The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 pm at the Myers funeral home, Westminster. The Rev Edwin Ankeny, her pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Sandymount Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from this evening until the service.
