Fred Cantua, aged 50, of 703 Lucard Street, passed away last night at 8:00 o'clock at the family home.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Cornelia Cantua of Taft and one son, Jack, living in Los Angeles. Three brothers, Louis Cantua of Los Angeles, Joseph Cantua of San Luis Obispo, and William Cantua of Cambria and a sister, Mrs. Alberts of San Luis Obispo also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9:00 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Father James L. Buckley officiating.
Cantua has been a fireman for the Union Oil Company for the past nine years.
The Taft Undertaking Company has charge of the arrangements.
